About Sark
Sark is a unique jewel within the Channel Islands, located 20 miles off the coast of Normandy, France, and around 80 miles south of England.
With 22 miles of picturesque craggy cliff coastline, the island is 3 ½ miles long and 1 ½ miles wide.
Boasting no cars and no concrete, nature is free to be abundant in all her glory.
No street lights contribute to the breath-taking starry night skies, with Sark being awarded recognition as the world’s first ‘Dark Sky Island’ in January 2011.
